MetaMorphix to Use Sequenom s MassArray in Animal Field Trials

NEW YORK, Nov. 7 (GenomeWeb News) - MetaMorphix will use Sequenom's MassArray genetic-analysis system and iPlex assay in preliminary commercialization field trials of DNA-based animal predictive-diagnostic tools, the companies said today.

 

MetaMorphix is expected to introduce commercial products for the livestock and companion animals market through its partner, Cargill, in 2006, the company said.

 

Financial details were not disclosed.
