MBI Raises $4.5M in VC Funding to Develop Nanofluidic DNA Typing Platform | GenomeWeb
NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) - Microchip Biotechnologies said last week that it has completed a Series A investment round worth $4.5 million.
 
The round was co-led by venture capital firms In-Q-Tel and RONA Syndicates.
 
MBI said it plans to use the funding to develop portable forensics devices for DNA typing based on its Microscale On-chip Valve, or MOV, nanofluidic platform.
