Lipomics Signs Obesity Research Agreement with Bayer

NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Lipid metabolite research firm Lipomics Technologies said today that it has signed a research agreement with Bayer to study the effects of drug compounds on metabolism and analyze the lipid profiles of obesity.

Lipomics will use its TrueMass lipid analysis platform, along with its Lipomics Surveyor data visualization software and Insight software for pathway representation, in the collaboration.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
