Lion Licenses SRS, Services to European Patent Office

NEW YORK, July 23 - Lion Bioscience has signed an agreement with the European Patent Office to provide the office with SRS software and releated professional services, the company said today.

 

The EPO will use SRS, a life science informatics software, in reviewing patent applications in life sciences, and especially conduciting prior art searches to see if an invention can be patented. Lion's professional services staff will train the EPO staff in the use of the software.

 

The organizations did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
