Lion Bioscience to Integrate TEMIS Text-Mining Technology With SRS

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (GenomeWeb News) - Lion Bioscience will integrate text-mining technology made by TEMIS into its SRS and Target Engine platforms, the companies said today.


Terms of the agreement call for Lion to become a "preferred reseller" for TEMIS software in the life sciences industry, and will also develop and market thesauri and language rules for data extraction using the TEMIS technology.

TEMIS, based in France, makes the Insight Discoverer Extractor and Skill Cartridges for biological and clinical text data.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
