Lion and DigiGenomics to Create SARS Database System at Taiwan Hospital

NEW YORK, March 10 (GenomeWeb News) - Lion Bioscience and DigiGenomics will establish a database system for severe acute respiratory syndrome at a hospital in Taiwan later this year, Lion said today.

The system, scheduled to be up and running sometime during the fourth quarter, will be established at Wan Fang Municipal Hospital of Taipei, which dealt with SARS cases last year.

Using Lion's SRS technology, the system will integrate data from bioinformatics and medical databases, and give physicians access to medical records, clinical assays, and recommended treatment.
