Lindquist to Step Down as President of Whitehead Institute

NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (GenomeWeb News) - Susan Lindquist will resign as president of the Whitehead Institute to focus on her laboratory and research, effective "on or about" Nov. 1, said the Institute's board of directors in a statement today.

Lindquist helped transition the Whitehead/MIT Center for Genome Research to the newly established Broad Institute "while preserving opportunities for joint scientific programs" between Whitehead and the Broad.
