Lexicon Genetics and Taconic Farms Will Market, Distribute Knockout Mice

NEW YORK, Nov. 11 (GenomeWeb News) - Lexicon Genetics and Taconic Farms plan to market, distribute, and license certain knockout mice made by Lexicon, the companies said today.


Under terms of the collaboration, Lexicon will make more than1,000 distinct lines of mice, each with a single gene knocked out. Taconic will provide breeding services and licenses for these lines, and will distribute the knockout mice to customers.
