KU Med Opens $56M Biomedical Research Center; Will House Genomics Research

NEW YORK, Sept. 19 (GenomeWeb News) - The University of Kansas Medical School opened its $56 million BiomedicalResearchCenter for neuroscience, cancer research, human reproductive biology, and genomics today.

 

The new center was funded in part by a $27 million grant from the Hall Family Foundation.

 

KU also reopened the Biotechnology Development Center of Greater Kansas City, which will provide seven labs and office space for biotech companies.
