Jubilant Licenses Pathways Database to Novartis

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (GenomeWeb News) - Bioinformatics and chemoinformatics service provider Jubilant Biosys has licensed its PathArt database of manually curated pathways to Novartis, the company said today.

PathArt comprises more than 450 signaling, metabolic, and disease-specific pathways, Jubilant said. It also includes coverage on disease-specific pathways in certain cancers, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, asthma, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, and atherosclerosis.

The database is set up to enable researchers to map data generated from experiments directly into the pathways.
