IT.Omics Forges Collaboration with Harvard Med Lab

NEW YORK, July 12 (GenomeWeb News) - French bioinformatics firm IT.Omics has announced a research collaboration with a Harvard Medical School team led by Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator Norbert Perrimon.

 

The parties will co-develop pathway data-mining technology to study the developmental biology of Drosophila, particularly in the context of high-throughput experimental techniques such as RNAi screens, IT.Omics said.

 

The collaboration will use IT.Omics LSGraph technology, which mines the relationships between genes, proteins, and chemical compounds from scientific literature, IT.Omics.
