Investment Bank Upgrades Beckman Coulter Stock on Positive Q3 Results

NEW YORK, Nov. 3 (GenomeWeb News) - Bear Stearns today upgraded Beckman Coulter's stock to "Outperform" from "Peer Perform" on positive Q3 results reported yesterday.

 

As GenomeWeb News reported, Beckman Coulter had a 2-percent increase in third-quarter revenues of $593.4 million. 

 

Shares in Beckman Coulter jumped 6.6 percent, or $3.25, to close at $52.75 yesterday after the company announced its results. The stock continues to climb today, going up 4.4 percent, or $2.31, to $55.06 in mid-afternoon trading.
