NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Applied Biosystems said today that four bioinformatics companies have joined its SOLiD Software Development Community program, an initiative that supports third-party development of software for its SOLiD second-generation sequencing technology.
 
The four new members are InteRNA Genomics, Biotique Systems, Genomatix, and the BioTeam. They join Geospiza and GenomeQuest, who began partnering with ABI under the program in February.
