Ingenuity Licenses Pathway Analysis Database, Software to Serono Genetics Institute

NEW YORK, June 14 (GenomeWeb News) - Ingenuity has licensed its pathway analysis database and software to the Serono Genetics Institute, the Mountain View, Calif.-based company said today.

Under the license, the institute, located near Paris, will use Ingenuity's Pathways Knowledge Base database and Pathways Analysis software to develop drug-discovery and -development tools internally.

Pathway Knowledge Base contains millions of manually curated modeled relationships between proteins, genes, complexes, cells, tissues, drugs, and diseases. Pathways Analysis allows researchers to analyze multiple genomic and proteomic datasets simultaneously, Ingenuity said.
