InforMax, SciTegic Pen Software Collaboration

BOSTON, Oct. 3 - InforMax and SciTegic today said they will combine their technologies in order to co-develop new data-pipelining and -automation products.

 

The new bioinformatics products will marry SciTegic's Pipeline Pilot technologies with InforMax's Vector products. SciTegic and InforMax, some of whose top executives are manning the company booth at TIGR's annual GSAC meeting here this week, said they plan to deliver the first version of the planned software series in the first half of 2003.
