Informax Expands into Massachusetts

NEW YORK, Dec 12 – InforMax announced Tuesday the opening of an office in Cambridge, Mass.

Informax said that the new office would serve as a sales and support site and will aim to introduce InforMax’s products to potential customers in the Northeast.

" Boston has emerged as one of biotechnology's capital cities," said Alex Titomirov, CEO and chairman of InforMax. " Staking our presence in this area allows InforMax to better satisfy our clients in the Northeast corridor and provide them with our signature customer support."

InforMax said it is also opening other offices in San Francisco and San Diego.

The company said that its products are used by more than 1,300 research organizations and more than 20,000 scientists worldwide. The company includes 19 out of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies among its customers.
