NEW YORK, April 5 – Incyte Genomics said Thursday it had appointed Barry Ariko, CEO of Extricity Software, to its board of directors.

"Information Technology is at the core of Incyte's business and Barry brings to Incyte years of proven executive experience managing profitable and cutting-edge IT businesses," Roy Whitfield, CEO of Incyte, said in a statement.

Ariko has worked in executive-level positions at Netscape Communications, Oracle, and Tandem Computers.
