NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Illumina and Solexa shareholders will meet independently on Jan. 26, 2007 to vote on aspects of Illumina’s $600 million bid to acquire Solexa, Illumina said today.
 
Solexa shareholders will meet to consider and vote on the deal, while Illumina stockholders will meet to consider issuing Illumina shares to Solexa stockholders.
