Illumina Provides Guidance on 2003 Financials, Reports BeadLab Placement

NEW YORK, Jan. 12 (GenomeWeb News) - Illumina released today financial guidance for the fourth quarter and full year 2003, while also announcing the December installation of a BeadLab SNP genotyping platform at the Human Genome Center of the Institute of Medical Science of the University of Tokyo.


According to Illumina, with the installation of the BeadLab at the IMSUT, the company's revenues are likely be about $10.5 million for the fourth quarter and $27.8 million for the full year. The company added that it expects to report total cash, including restricted cash, of roughly $45 million as of Dec. 28.


Final fourth quarter and year-end financial results will be released on Jan 27, Illumina added.
