If Shareholders Approve, Hycor Merger with Stratagene to Close Soon After June 2

NEWS YORK, April 30 (GenomeWeb News) - Hycor Biomedical's merger with Stratagene is expected to close "soon after" June 2, when Hycor's shareholders will vote on the merger, the companies said today.


The merger, announced last July, is subject to approval from both Hycor and Stratagene stockholders, as well as certain other conditions.


The SEC declared effective a registration statement relating to Stratagene issuing common stock in connection with the merger, the companies said today.
