IDT Opens $10M HQ Expansion in Iowa; Plans to Boost Headcount by Half

NEW YORK, June 23 (GenomeWeb News) - Integrated DNA Technologies opened its new $10 million headquarters expansion yesterday in Coralville, Iowa, the company said today.

 

The 77,000-sq.-ft. facility doubles the company's HPLC, R&D, and production capabilities. It follows a new satellite facility in San Diego and recent acquisitions of GenBase and Synthegen.

 

IDT's headquarters currently employs 338 staffers, a number it hopes to increase by up to 50 percent in the next two years, the company said. The company also has offices in Montreal.
