IBM in Deal with Fast for Search Product in Life Sciences Solutions

NEW YORK, Dec. 22 (GenomeWeb News) - IBM and Fast Search & Transfer, which develops enterprise search and real-time alerting technologies, announced a collaboration today to develop, market, and sell e-business solutions to the European and American life science market.

 

Under the agreement, the companies said they will look into integrating the Fast Data Search, which is Fasts's search product, with IBM Life Science Solutions.   The aim of the collaboration is scalable, real-time, single point access to relevant information in the massive and dispersed volume of life sciences data, the companies said.
