NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Redd&Whyte recently appointed HighRes Biosolutions as its North American distributor for the Preddator low-volume microplate dispensers.

Preddator can dispense viscous liquids, such as gels, cell suspensions, and DMSO in a microplate format from 96-3456 wells and will be integrated into HighRes' MicroDock technology, allowing researchers "to easily add and remove the Preddator from HighRes' automated assay preparation and screening systems," Redd&Whyte said.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Redd&Whyte is based in Bury St. Edmunds, UK, and provides automated liquid handling technologies for drug discovery and life science research. HighRes designs and manufactures robotic systems and laboratory devices for pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic research laboratories and is based in Woburn, Mass.
