Helix BioService to Promote Cellectis Products in India

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Helix BioService will promote Cellectis Bioresearch's Genome Positioning System line of products and services in India, under an agreement announced today.

Paris-based Cellectis' tools are used for genome customization, enabling the engineering of cells with optimized features for drug discovery, gene-function studies, and protein production.

"India, as a major player in bioproduction, is a key market for our cell line engineering services," Luc Selig, VP of sales and marketing for Cellectis Bioresearch, said in a statement.

Financial and other terms of the alliance were not disclosed.
