Genomic Solutions Erroneously Refiles 2000 IPO Forms: May 24, 2005 (rev. 1)

This article has been updated and corrected from an initial version, which cited a Reuters report that Genomic Solutions had filed for an IPO today.

NEW YORK, May 24 (GenomeWeb News) - Genomic Solutions, a subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience, erroneously refiled its initial public offering documents from 2000 early yesterday.

The registration forms were later removed from the SEC's web site, but not before several wire services, inlcuding GenomeWeb News, reported that the company was filing for an IPO of up to $100 million in common stock.

A Genomic Solutions spokesman told Dow Jones earlier today that the forms it released were an "erroneous reissue."

Neither Genomic Solutions nor Harvard Bioscience returned GenomeWeb News' calls for comment.
