Genomatix Inks Deal with AAAS to Integrate STKE with BibliospherePE

NEW YORK, Sept. 19 (GenomeWeb News) - Genomatix Software and the American Association for the Advancement of Science have agreed to integrate data from AAAS' Signal Transduction Knowledge Environment with Genomatix's BibliospherePE pathway informatics system, the organizations said today.

AAAS publishes the journal Science along with Science's STKE, a database of cell-signaling components and their relationships organized into pathways.

The STKE database will add signal transduction data to BibliospherePE, which also includes information on metabolic pathways, transcription factors, and promoter sequences, the company said.
