GenoLogics and BSI to Integrate Data-Management and -Visualization Platforms

NEW YORK, May 25 (GenomeWeb News) - GenoLogics Life Sciences will integrate its Proteus lab and data management solution with the PEAKS software from Bioinformatics Solutions, the two companies said earlier this week.

BSI's PEAKS software is used for peptide sequencing and protein identification from tandem mass spectrometry data.

Proteomics researchers will be able to use PEAKS to automatically submit spectra data and Proteus will generate and manage the data for simplified collaboration and visualization.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
