GeneSeek to Use Sequenom MassArray for Animal Genotyping

NEW YORK, Dec. 19 (GenomeWeb News) - GeneSeek has purchased Sequenom's MassArray system and iPlex assay for animal genotyping, Sequenom said today.

 

GeneSeek will use the high-throughput system for animal diagnostic testing, traceability, and contract research and development for a number of customers, including its recently announced deal with Merial to genotype cattle.

 

Financial details were not disclosed.
