GeneSeek and Merial to Genotype Cattle

NEW YORK, Dec. 16 (GenomeWeb News) - GeneSeek and Merial Limited will genotype cattle to demonstrate the benefits of DNA analysis throughout the beef production chain, the companies said today.

During a demonstration trial called "Project Lariat," over 50,000 cattle will be sampled and genotyped, and their performance data recorded.
