GenData Changes Name to LineaGen

NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (GenomeWeb News) - GenData Research has changed its name to LineaGen Research to reflect its research in population genetics and resulting products and services, including the identification and validation of biomarkers, the company said.

 

The firm was founded in 2002 by the State of Utah, the University of Utah, and the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Its research assets include rights to use the Utah Population Database.

 

Salt Lake City-based LineaGen noted that it has discovery collaborations Amgen, Celera Diagnostics, and Battelle.
