Genaissance and Sygen Pen Animal-Genotyping Collaboration

NEW YORK, Dec. 2 (GenomeWeb News) - Genaissance Pharmaceuticals and Sygen International will perform genotyping studies on three undisclosed meat animal species, the firms said today.

 

Genaissance will apply its HAP technology platform to conduct the study.

 

UK-based Sygen is an animal breeding concern, which has two subsidiaries. One provides breeding stock to the North American pork industry, and the other supplies shrimp for cultivation.

 

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
