NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – GE today said that it has named Sue Siegel, a former president of Affymetrix, to serve as CEO of its healthymagination initiative.

Siegel joins GE from Mohr Davidow Ventures, where she was a general partner leading investments in technology paltforms such as molecular diagnostics and digital health. She takes over the CEO role from Mike Barber, who led the initiative since 2009 but has been named VP and general manager of molecular imaging at GE Healthcare.
