Fujisawa Subscribes to Gene Logic Database, Bioinformatics System

BOSTON, Oct. 3-Fujisawa Pharmaceutical has entered into a multi-year subscription to Gene Logic's database of genomic and clinical information, the company said today.

 

The subscription includes access to the GeneExpress Atlas Data Suite, which includes information from normal human tissues, model animal systems, and both human and animal cell lines. It also includes Gene Logic's GeneExpress software package for bioinformatics.

 

Gene Logic did not reveal financial terms of the subscription deal.

 

The deal was brokered by Amersham Biosciences, which handles marketing and sales for Gene Logic in Japan.
