NEW YORK, July 18 (GenomeWeb News) - Genomatix Software today said that the French National Genomic Research Consortium will provide researchers in its National Genopoles Network access to the company's GenomatixSuitePE software.

The deal brings to three the number of licenses Genomatix has provided to government labs. Beside France's CNRG, the company has agreement with the Finland's CSC IT center and the US National Institutes of Health, according to Klaus May, Genomatix's head of sales and marketing.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Genomatix said that part of the CNRG contract provides for on-site training and scientific seminars at the different French Genopole clusters.
