NEW YORK, April 13 (GenomeWeb News) - The University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine said today that it will use First Genetic Trust's EnTrust genetic banking platform to manage its clinical and research data.
FGT and UCI also said they plan to partner to commercialize "technologies and certain data assets for sponsored research."
The organizations will co-develop interfaces that will allow other institutions to expand their collaborative research and data-sharing capabilities using national data standards, UCI said.
