Exelixis and Dow AgroSciences Extend Target Discovery Collaboration

NEW YORK, Aug. 5 (GenomeWeb News) - Exelixis said today that Dow AgroSciences had extended for one-year a collaboration to determine mechanism of action in herbicides.

 

The collaboraton involves identifying gene targets and target screening assays for specific herbicidal compounds using Exelixis' drug discovery technologies and model plant species, the company said.

 

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the agreement, but Exelixis said it will receive milestone payments as well as royalties from products developed through the partnership.
