Exact Sciences Says EU Patent Office Upholds DNA Patent

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Exact Sciences said Thursday that the European Patent Office has upheld a patent for one of its DNA technologies after another diagnostics company challenged the validity of the patent.
 
Exact Sciences did not disclose the name of the company that challenged the patent, but described the challenger as “a major diagnostics company.”
