Exact Sciences and Genzyme Genetics Cross-License Patents

NEW YORK, May 7 -- Exact Sciences of Maynard, Mass., and Genzyme Genetics, a subsidiary of Genzyme General, today announced the signing of a cross-license and collaboration agreement covering 15 technology patents.


Financial details were not disclosed. Both companies have contributed equally to the patent pool, an Exact company spokeswoman told GenomeWeb.


Exact and Genzyme Genetics will collaborate on the development of molecular diagnostics for hematologic oncology.
