Euroscreen to Use Aureus Pharma s GPCR Drug-Target Database

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Euroscreen has subscribed to France-based Aureus Pharma's AurScope GPCR drug-target database, the companies said today.

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

Belgium-based Euroscreen patents and licenses GPCR targets and drug candidates, the company said in a statement. The firm will use the database, which contains GPCR biological activity data mined from scientific journals and patents, to "prioritize candidates in lead generation and optimization programs" and to design "chemical libraries for [its] screening campaigns," Euroscreen said.
