Eurofins MWG Operon Inks UK Supply Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Eurofins MWG Operon today said that it has signed an agreement to supply the RCUK Shared Services Centre Ltd. with synthetic DNA and RNA oligonucleotides.

The Ebersberg, Germany-based firm said that the three-year contract builds on its relationship as a preferred supplier during the previous four years for the Medical Research Council.

The RCUK SSC was created by the seven Research Councils of the UK to provide centralized services to the councils and their institutes in a variety of areas including procurement, finance, IT, and grants processing, among others.

Financial and other terms of the contract were not disclosed.
