EraGen Selects Japanese Distributors for Proteomics Product

NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (GenomeWeb News) - EraGen Biosciences said today that it has selected Itochu and its group company CTC Laboratory Systems as the exclusive distributors of its Master Catalog phylogenomics product in Japan.

 

Specific terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.

 

The Master Catalog, said EraGen, consists of a software system that predicts protein function based on unique evolutionary analyses.

 

"Methods for in-silico protein prediction continue to be of significant interest to our life science customers," Taizo Watanabe, president of CTC, said in a statement. "As we expand our capabilities and services in the life sciences, specific to in-silico protein prediction, we are pleased to be working with EraGen.
