Enzo Life Sciences Intends to Buy Belgian Distributor 10 P's

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Enzo Life Sciences has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Belgian reagents and life sciences products distributor 10 P’s BVBA for an undisclosed sum, the Enzo Biochem subsidiary said today.

10 P’s distributes products throughout the Benelux region of Europe and will give Enzo “an important local presence,” said Enzo Life Sciences President Carl Balezentis. “In addition, 10 P's enjoys exclusive relationships with other reagent manufacturers that will provide Enzo with the opportunity to further expand our product line."

Enzo plans retain 10 P’s employees.

The acquisition is expected to close in February 2008.
