Elsevier MDL and NIH Link Compound, Chemical Genomics Indices

NEW YORK, March 21 (GenomeWeb News) - Elsevier MDL said today that it has linked its compound database with the National Institutes of Health's PubChem small-molecule data repository.


Specifically, Elsevier has linked its DiscoveryGate platforms to PubChem, which is part of the NIH's Chemical Genomics Initiative, to catalog information on the biological properties of small molecules.


Elsevier's DiscoveryGate provides access to integrated scientific content from databases, journal articles, patent publications, and reference works from information providers including Elsevier.
