Don O’Neil, Hugh Coble, Hilliard Terry

GenVault appointed Don O’Neil as its vice president of operations as of Jan. 2, the company said this week. In the position, O’Neill will oversee sales, manufacturing, and engineering operations at the DNA sample handling company.
 
O’Neill most recently was global business area director at Invitrogen, and before that he served at Illumina, Gravitron, Discovery Partners International, and Energy Science Laboratories.
 

 
Beckman Coulter disclosed in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing last week that Hugh Coble will retire from the firm’s board of directors, effective Feb. 2.
 

 
Rodney Gonsalves has been promoted to director of investor relations at Agilent Technologies. Gonsalves had been serving as controller, corporate governance and finance, at Agilent. He succeeds Hilliard Terry, who was recently appointed vice president and treasurer of the firm.
