Digital Gene Technologies Will Use Accelrys System

NEW YORK, Oct. 22-Digital Gene Technologies, a gene expression tool company, will use Accelrys' DS SeqStore in its bioinformatics infrastructure, Accelrys said today.

 

DS SeqStore is an Oracle-based platform for managing, analyzing and visualizing data. It is integrated with Accelrys' sequence analysis package.

 

Financial specifics of the agreement were not revealed.

Digital Gene Technologies is based in La Jolla, Calif. Its TOGA platform is designed to identify and quantify active genes. 

 

Accelrys is a bioinformatics subsidiary of Pharmacopeia.
