Devgen Extends Collaboration with FMC

NEW YORK, April 23 -- Devgen of Ghent, Belgium, said today that it is extending a four-year collaboration with agri-chemical manufacturer FMC Corp. of Philadelphia.

 

The agreement, signed in 1999, will extend the partnership for one year, until April 2006, the company said in a statement. Financial details were not provided.

 

Devgen, a genomics-based drug discovery researcher, is developing assays and lead compounds for FMC to apply in pest control.
