Dan Calvo has been named chairman of Optra Systems. Calvo previously was CEO of Cellomics, and recently was president and CEO at Assay Designs. He also had been vice president of worldwide sales and service at PerkinElmer, and was vice president of global sales and marketing at NEN Life Sciences.
