Cyntellect Expands Japanese Distribution Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – San Diego-based Cyntellect today said that it has expanded an existing deal with Summit Pharmaceuticals International to distribute the firm's Celigo Adherent Cell Cytometer in Japan.

Celigo is a non-invasive, in situ live cell imaging platform that can conduct label-free analysis of live cells and fluorescence cellular analysis. The firm noted that it recently inked distribution deals for the system covering China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Tokyo-based Summit also distributed Cyntellect's LEAP Workstation in Japan for laser-enabled analysis and processing.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
