CombiMatrix Stock to Join Russell Microcap Index

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – CombiMatrix said today that its shares will be part of the Russell Microcap Index when it is reconstituted on June 27.
 
The Russell indexes include the 4,000 largest US stocks, ranked by market cap, as of the end of May each year. Those firms are included in either the Russell 3000 Index or the Russell Microcap.
 
Amit Kumar, president and CEO of CombiMatrix, said that the firm’s pending inclusion in the index “is a recognition of the continued development of our company.”
 
CombiMatrix currently has a market capitalization of around $57.8 million.
