NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) - Codon Devices successfully built a sequence-verified 35-kilobase genetic construct for Microbia's Precision Engineering Unit, the company said today.

The construct is an 80-percent synthetic gene cluster containing a biosynthetic pathway to optimize production of an active pharmaceutical ingredient.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
